TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The general terms and conditions of sale apply to all services offered by our establishment. Any confirmed reservation implies express and complete acceptance of our general terms and conditions of sale, acknowledgment of having perfect knowledge of them, and renunciation of invoking your own purchasing conditions or other terms. These general terms and conditions shall prevail over any other general or specific terms not expressly agreed upon by the service provider.

PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are indicated in euros and include VAT. Tourist and local taxes are not included in the prices and must be paid in cash at the riad at the end of the stay. The tourist tax is €2.50 per guest per night. A payment of 100% of the total price of the stay, excluding tourist and local taxes, is required at the time of booking. This payment is refundable in full according to the terms of our cancellation policy (as detailed above).

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

For all reservations:
We offer the flexibility to modify or cancel your reservation free of charge up to 30 days before your arrival. If the cancellation occurs after this period, the total amount of the stay will be charged.

For reservations from crowdfunding:
You may cancel or modify your reservation up to 60 days before your arrival date. Beyond this period, modifications will no longer be possible.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article 38 of Moroccan Law 31-08, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, catering and leisure services provided on a specific date. The cancellation conditions defined in the "CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS" section apply to all our reservations.

MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION BY THE SERVICE PROVIDER

The provider reserves the right to modify or cancel a reservation unilaterally for operational reasons or in cases of force majeure. In such cases, the provider commits to informing the client as soon as possible and offering an alternative of equal value or fully refunding any payments made. No additional compensation will be provided.

CHILDREN

For safety and tranquility, children under the age of 10 are unfortunately not allowed at the riad. We understand your desire to travel as a family, but some decorative and architectural elements could present risks for young children (open pool, gaps in guardrails on the first floor, partially rail-less staircase, etc.). The configuration of the premises, with rooms in close proximity to one another, does not allow us to ensure the comfort and peace of all our guests. Our riad is designed to provide a relaxing and serene experience, and we aim to offer this to all our clients.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES

Your room will be ready to welcome you from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival, and we kindly ask you to vacate it by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If these times do not align perfectly with your travel plans, we are happy to offer a luggage service for your convenience.

CATERING AND BEVERAGES

We offer a complete catering service to enhance your experience. Breakfast is included each morning. Lunch and dinner are available upon request. To maintain the quality and harmony of our services, we kindly ask you not to bring food or drinks from outside. Meals can be enjoyed in the charming setting of our ground-floor patio or on the peaceful terrace of the riad.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and suites of the riad. However, you may smoke on the terrace.

PET POLICY

For everyone's comfort, we do not accept pets.

ADMISSION TO THE RIAD

We reserve the right of admission at all times and may refuse to rent rooms or grant access to certain areas of the riad for the safety and well-being of all. The protection of our clients and visitors is our primary concern.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

Our riad aims to provide a safe experience for all our guests. To this end, certain activities are not permitted on the premises, including but not limited to:

  • Any act that could harm the reputation or morality of our riad, including inappropriate behavior or actions.

  • Impersonating an employee, agent, or representative of the riad without authorization.

  • Engaging in commercial activities within the riad without prior written consent.

  • The presence of courtesans or individuals engaged in sexual services.

  • Discriminatory behavior or actions compromising the dignity of others, whether by you, your guests, or visitors.

  • Any intimidating conduct, verbal or otherwise.

  • Violating the privacy of other guests or visitors.

  • Committing illegal acts under Moroccan law, including possession or use of controlled substances or firearms.

  • Installing recording or surveillance equipment without authorization on the premises.

  • Soliciting transactions for goods or services from other guests or our staff without explicit consent.

  • Filming or photographing for public dissemination without prior written authorization.

  • Using the intellectual property of the riad, including trademarks and trade names, without prior written agreement.

HEALTH AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Morocco is a nation proud of its Islamic heritage and adheres to Islamic laws and customs. We encourage you to show sensitivity by respecting local traditions, especially during the holy month of Ramadan and when visiting places of worship. This will enrich your experience and foster cultural harmony. As in any destination, caution is advised to ensure your safety and that of your belongings. We recommend taking the same precautions you would at home to protect yourself and your family throughout your stay.

INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that our clients take out comprehensive travel insurance. This should cover cancellation fees, trip interruption, medical needs, repatriation, loss of luggage or personal effects, and bodily injury. It should also include coverage for cash and valuables. For your peace of mind, each accommodation is equipped with a safe. However, please note that the riad cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings left in your room or elsewhere in the hotel at any time. We encourage you to use the security measures available to you and take all necessary precautions to safeguard your belongings.

EVENTS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE SERVICE PROVIDER

Examples of events beyond the control of the provider include, but are not limited to: war, threat of war, riots, civil disorder, government actions, terrorist activity, natural or industrial disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, earthquakes, floods, airport closures, labor disputes, technical or maintenance issues, or failures of IT infrastructure or Internet connections. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the provider shall not be held liable or offer compensation when the fulfillment of its contractual obligations is hindered or affected by such events.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

We invite you to share any special requests before your booking by sending us an email. We will do our best to meet your needs, though we cannot guarantee fulfillment. We look forward to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

We are here to assist with any concerns regarding your reservation. Please feel free to contact us by email at info@rocamarrakech.com within fifteen days of your departure. We are committed to responding promptly and doing our best to meet your needs.
